Day 1 Cornwall. ON

Today a leisurely drive finds us in the city of Cornwall for our first overnight. Dinner is included this evening. (D)

Day 2 Magog, QC

An interesting day as we travel to the Eastern Townships of Québec. Our first stop will be in Saint-Jean-sur-Rich at Le Mas des Patriotes Winery, nestled in the heart of the Montérégienne plain and benefiting from a rich soil and a favorable microclimate. Discover the winery and their methods of winemaking followed by a tasting of their specialty wines. This afternoon, another tasting experience at The Chocolate Museum of Confectionery. Along with a tour of the museum is a demonstration on the art of creating a chocolate molding, a tasting and time to purchase some of these delicious treats! Before arrival at our hotel, one more stop is made at Savon des Cantons. Here, you will discover the ancestral technique of making Marseille soap utilizing liquid olive oil poured into moulds, followed by a visit to the fields of Sea-Buckhorn plants. Hear how this plant is used in the production of specialty natural products. We check into our hotel for a 3-night stay. (B)

Day 3 Magog, QC

Today we experience more of the Eastern Townships on a visit to the J. Armand Bombardier Museum, dedicated to the inventions of a fascinating individual, ingenious inventor and pragmatic visionary. A man who changed history through revolutionary innovations in show transportation. Later, we visit Blue Lavender Farm, the largest lavender farm in Canada. A box lunch is included prior to a guided tour where you have an opportunity to visit the lavender fields followed by a film describing the history and cultivation. Then see the distillery and discover the thousand and one secrets of lavender, recognized for its multiple benefits on the body and mind. Free evening. (B,L)

Day 4 Sherbrooke, QC

Following breakfast, we travel to Stoke to Miellerie Lune de Miel, a local honey producer for a 90-minute tour. Focusing on the life of bees and honey production, you have an opportunity to enter the only giant hive in the Americas. Travel to Sherbrooke and enjoy a guided walking tour of the Murals in Sherbrooke, before lunch on your own. We travel back towards Magog and enjoy a late afternoon 2-hour cruise on Lake Memphremagog on Le Grand Cru. We return to the hotel where you have time to enjoy your surroundings before we gather for cocktails prior to another delicious dinner. (B,D)

Day 5 Home

After breakfast, we say goodbye to the scenic Eastern Townships. A relaxing drive takes us back to our starting points. (B)
