Day 1 Southern Ontario to Springfield, MA

From your local joining points, we board the motor coach and travel through the Niagara region enroute to our first overnight stop.

Day 2 Boston, MA

Breakfast is included this morning. A short drive into Boston and a local guide will come onboard the motor coach for a 2 hour City Tour. After lunch, we travel to the Cruise Docks, and board the ms Zuiderdam. The first of Holland’s Vista class ships, she boasts classical nautical lines and finishes, modern amenities and spectacular art and antiques collection. While onboard, choose from an array of activities of interest or relax and rejuvenate. The ship will be setting sail at 5:00 p.m. (B,D)

Day 3 Rockland, Maine

Today is your first day to explore the world’s wonders through BBC Earth Experience or hone your culinary skills at a cooking show onboard. Or explore on shore as our ship is in port from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Throughout your cruise, be sure to enjoy the wide array of delectable cuisines in Zuiderdam’s restaurants. (B,L,D)

Day 4 Halifax, NS

Halifax has long been a very important North American port, during both times of war and times of peace. It is also such a charming city, that no one ever minds visiting again and again. You can choose a city tour to learn history and facts of this great Canadian city, or visit the Citadel, sitting majestically over the city, or stroll the picturesque waterfront. The ship arrives in Halifax at 11:00 a.m. and sets sail at 10:00 p.m. (B,L,D)

Day 5 At Sea

Our second day at sea to further enjoy all the onboard activities. Be sure to enjoy the Best Live Music in the Lincoln Center Stage or B.B. King’s Blues Club. (B,L,D)

Day 6 St. Athony, NF

Today you have an opportunity to visit the first European settlement in North America, L’Anse aux Meadows, the site of the Viking Village where Leif the Lucky is believed to have settled in the year 1000 AD. We are in port from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. (B,L,D)

Day 7 St. John's, NF

Our arrival at 11:00 am and departure of 8:00 p.m. allows for a full day to explore this historic city, one of the oldest communities in North America. (B,L,D)

Day 8 At Sea

Our final free day at sea gives you a chance to relax and refresh. (B,L,D)

Day 9 Havre-Saint Pierre, QC

Havre-Saint-Pierre is a town on Pointeaux- Esquimaux, which is on the Quebec north shore of the Saint Lawrence River. Historically, the town’s first inhabitants came from the Magdalen Islands in the nineteenth century. You will have plenty of time to enjoy as we arrive at 7:00 am, departing at 5:00 pm. (B,L,D)

Day 10 Baie-Comeau, QC

Today, you have an opportunity to visit the Jardin des glaciers, in the heart of the World Biosphere Reserve that explores the Ice Age, Climatic change and the migration of the first peoples. Or let yourself be mesmerized by the Daniel Johnson dam, the highest multiple arch and buttress dam in the world. We depart at 5:00 pm. (B,L,D)

Day 11 Quebec City, QC

We arrive in port today at 8:00 a.m. The singular image of the city is a hotel surrounded by cannons. Built to evoke a mountain castle, Chateau Frontenac sits atop a Cape above the St. Lawrence River. After we disembark, we will enjoy a guided city tour, followed with free time to Stroll Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with its stone buildings and winding streets. Enjoy an included dinner. Day 12 Kingston, ON

A leisurely morning to enjoy your final views of Quebec City. Our departure from Quebec City will have us travel the North Shore of the St. Lawrence River. A wonderful Lunch and entertainment await us at the Chez Dany Sugar Shack, where you will enjoy a traditional Lumberjacks Feast and learn about the Quebec Maple Syrup industry. We continue on to Kingston for our overnight stay. (B,L)

Day 13 Home

After an included breakfast, see the sights of Kingston with a local guide, including a stop at the Penitentiary Museum. Following lunch on your head, we return to our joining points and thank you for travelling. (B)
