Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Williamsport, Pennsylvania

This morning you will join our tour from your local joining points. We cross the border at Fort Erie and travel across the State of Pennsylvania to Williamsport for our first overnight. Dinner included tonight. (D)

Day 2 New York City, New York

Our day will begin with breakfast and a quick morning drive into Manhattan. Following a lunch stop, we enjoy a city tour of Manhattan, to orient you with this incredible city. This tour will travel into the financial district of Manhattan including the South Street Seaport, Wall Street and more. Tonight, your first evening in New York City-see the lights, hear the sounds, feel the energy of this spectacular city! Our hotel is midtown Manhattan. (CB)

Day 3 New York City/Embarkation

We visit the 911 Memorial and Museum. The Museum’s 110,000 square feet of exhibition space is located within the archaeological heart of the World Trade Center site, telling the story of 9/11 through multimedia displays, archives, narratives and a collection of monumental and authentic artifacts. We make our way to the Cruise Terminal and check in on Cunard Queen Mary 2, a remarkable flagship, as her style and elegance are legendary. Above all, it’s the space she offers and the luxury for you to do as little or as much as you wish which set her apart. We set sail at 5:00 p.m. after a safety orientation. (B,D)

Day 4 Newport, Rhode Island

Extravagance is the theme among the fabulous millionaire mansions built in Renaissance, Rococo, French and Victorian style atop Newport’s cliffs. In port from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m, giving you plenty of time to explore. (B,L,D)

Day 5 Boston, Massachusetts

Boston is the largest city in Massachusetts and New England’s most famous. Located in a natural harbour, full of significant historic sites, including the Freedom Trail. In port from 9:00 a.m. and sets sail again at 8:00 p.m. (B,L,D)

Day 6 At Sea

With 101 things to do on Queen Mary 2, you will find your first day at seat will pass by all too quickly. Take in a guided tour of this grand ocean liner, enjoy fine cuisine, a painting class or tour the Maritime Quest exhibit to learn of Cunard’s history. Be sure to experience the wonderful shows, delightful pubs or try your luck at the onboard casino. (B,L,D)

Day 7 Sydney, Nova Scotia

After cruising through the night, you find yourself in Sydney, Nova Scotia, which is located on Cape Breton Island. The region is very well known for their Gaelic traditions and culture, as well as some incredible scenery. The Bras d’or Lakes are located in almost the very centre of the island; the famous Cabot Trail takes you across the Highlands, before descending to the small fishing communities located on the shores of the ocean; and the Island is very well known for a great number of famous residents such as Alexander Graham Bell and Rita McNeil. We are in port from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. (B,L,D)

Day 8 At Sea

If you haven’t enjoyed the full service spa, or onsite fitness center, or explored the 8000 books in the largest library at sea, today is your chance. Be sure to have your picture taken with the Queen, an authentic painting of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This will be our final free day on board. (B,L,D)

Day 9 Quebec City, Quebec

The singular image of the city is a hotel surrounded by cannons. Built to evoke a mountain castle, Chateau Frontenac sits atop a Cape above the St. Lawrence River. Stroll Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with its stone buildings and winding streets, or visit the Petit Champlain district, the port or the Musee de la Civilization, or choose one of the many shore excursions available. In port from 8:00 a.m. until disembarkation tomorrow. (B,L,D)

Day 10 Cornwall, Ontario

After disembarking, we have a guided tour of Quebec City before we head to Trois Rivieres and Chez Dany for Quebecois Lunch with entertainment. Continue to our overnight accommodation in Cornwall. (B,L)

Day 11 Home

Today is for sharing some fond memories of this great trip with your friends, new and old. After lunch on your own, we include a guided tour of Glanmore National Historic Site, recognized for its exceptional 2nd Empire architecture. Built in 1882-1883 the grand interior features beautiful hand-painted ceilings and ornate woodwork. After our tour we return to our joining points. (B)
