Day 1 Flight to Saskatoon, SK
Featuring complimentary shuttles to Pearson Airport in Toronto, the day begins with a flight to Saskatoon. Here we meet the Tour Director and Motor Coach. This evening we gather together to board the Prairie Lily for a dinner cruise. (D)
Day 2 Saskatoon, SK
Breakfast is included this morning before we head north to Wanuskewin Heritage Park, where we explore First Nations traditional ways. We enjoy a guided tour, including a Tipi teaching and Dance performance. Our next stop is the Batoche National Historic Site. Take a journey through time to speak with a Metis settler about the life on banks of the River. (B)
Day 3 Regina, SK
This morning we visit the Saskatchewan Railway Museum for a self guided tour, before we continue to Manitou Beach and enjoy the Mineral Spa. The briny water of Little Manitou Lake is often compared to the Dead Sea of Israel. Come and float in the warm and therapeutic mineral pool for an experience you will never forget. We continue to Regina for the next two nights. (B)
Day 4 Regina, S.K.
Today we enjoy a visit to Government House for a tour and stroll though the Edwardian Gardens. Our next stop is the RCMP Heritage tour, where a motorized tram takes us behind the scenes. Our afternoon is spent on the SP Railway Heritage Train. Come for a leisurely ride through the open prairies with a guide giving local historical facts, along with an exclusive tour of a 1922 Federal Grain Elevator. Tonight, we enjoy a tour and dinner at Over the Hill Orchard and Winery. (B,D)
Day 5 Winnipeg, MB
Travelling through the community of Brandon, we arrive in Winnipeg late afternoon for the next three nights. Dinner included this evening. (B,D)
Day 6 Winnipeg, MB
We begin our day with a guided tour to learn of its big city sophistication. Winnipeg is the gateway to the north and today we visit the Assiniboine Park Zoo’s “Journey to Churchill”, the world’s foremost Arctic species exhibit. See muskox, Arctic Fox, snowy owls, wolves and of course, Polar Bears. We then continue to Leatherdale International Polar Bear Conservation Centre, where we get a behind the scenes tour and meet members of the Zoo’s polar bear rescue team. (B)
Day 7 Winnipeg, MB.
This morning, we enjoy some free time to explore the Forks Market area before taking in Splash Dash River Tours. We see Winnipeg’s downtown waterway on a 30-minute ride. Next, we visit the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, the only museum dedicated to Human Rights. From the breathtaking architecture, to the moving stories and captivating exhibitions and programs, every part of the Museum offers a unique encounter. Balance of afternoon is free. Farewell dinner included tonight. (B,D)
Day 8 Winnipeg to Toronto
Today we bid farewell to the amazing scenery of Canada’s Prairies and board our flight home to Toronto. Here we are met by our shuttles that return us home. (B)
