Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Fly to Los Angeles, California

At Pearson Airport in Toronto you will meet the Tour Director and fly to Los Angeles. Upon arrival we make our way to our hotel for the next 4 nights. (B)

Day 2 Warner Brothers Studio and Hollywood

This morning we visit Warner Brothers Studios for a guided tour of the film making Industry. After lunch on our own, we have a guided tour of Hollywood...from the famous hillside sign to Rodeo drive, you are sure to see sights you never thought possible. Dinner included tonight. (B,D)

Day 3 Queen Mary

This morning more incredible sights at the Peterson Automotive Museum featuring classic cars, trucks & motorcycles as well as some famous movie cars! Then, we make our way to Long Beach for a tour of the Queen Mary that serves as both a hotel and a major attraction along the Long Beach waterfront. Following the Behind the Scenes guided tour; there will be time to look around. This evening a group dinner before our gathering to ring in the New Year on Ontario time! (B,D)

Day 4 Pasadena, Tournament of Roses Parade

Today is the big day, as we are up early and off to our reserved seats for the famous Tournament of Roses Parade! You’ll be delighted with the hundreds of colourful floats that glide past our location. After the parade, we enjoy a boxed lunch before we go to the location where the floats are parked, so that you can get a closer look at your favourite. This will also be your best opportunity for a picture. Late afternoon we return to hotel to relax. (B,L)

Day 5 San Simeon

Our route today is North to San Simeon, located below the hills where William Randolph Hearst built his famous Hearst Castle. This afternoon we have a guided tour of the Grand Rooms of this famous landmark! We overnight in San Simeon. (B)

Day 6 San Francisco, California

Following breakfast, we travel route 101 to the romantic city of San Francisco. Here we check into our downtown hotel for 3 nights. San Francisco is a fabulous city with a rich and sometimes colourful history. A local guide gives a city tour this afternoon. (B)

Day 7 Napa Valley/San Francisco

We have planned a wonderful day excursion into the amazing Napa Valley! Here hundreds of wineries call this charming valley home. We begin with a fabulous Lunch at Downtown Joe’s Brewery, where we also have a tour. Next, we tour a local winery. You’ll learn why California wines have become some of the most recognized around the world. (B,L)

Day 8 Bay Cruise/San Francisco

This morning a cruise on San Francisco Bay for an up-close look at the famous island prison of Alcatraz! This afternoon is free for you to enjoy San Francisco your way, or take in one of the suggestions offered by your Tour Director. From the Aquarium, to riding a cable car, it is your choice! Farewell Dinner included tonight. (B,D)

Day 9 Home

The motor coach provides a shuttle to the airport where we bid farewell to California as we board our flight home! (B)
